Time for... Championships!

Quebec's Marie-France Larouche has punched her tickets to this year's Scotties Tournament of Hearts. Larouche defeated Eve Belisle 11-8 in an extra end on Sunday (January 20) at the Etchemin Curling Club, as she prepares for her first trip back to the Scotties since 2004. Larouche's squad is made up of third Nancy Belanger, second Annie Lemay and lead Joelle Sabourin. The Scotties Tournament of Hearts is set to get underway on February 16 in Regina, Saskatchewan. Congratulations!
Congratulations also to the runner-up, Eve Belisle, and to her team-mates Brenda Nichols, Martine Comeau and Julie Rainville. They had a great year!
At the junior level, we also want to highlight the performance of Roxanne Perron from the Trois-Rivières Curling Club, who won the bronze medal at the Performance Brush Junior Championship held at the Montreal West Curling Club. Congratulations!
